Dutch. Confusion. I don't think your original posting got to MG-ED-DV. You had tried to send it I believe but I think it was filtered out since it had a header in it. Certainly Fred's comment was on HRNet not MG-ED-DV. Please try to keep track of which you posting where in these situations. Cyberregards, Charlie

Subject: Correction on Peter Drucker
My mailbox is currently flooded with messages on this topic.
First, I want to thank Fred Nichols for pointing out I had made a mistake.
The conversation on training evaluations was a second-hand account by AT&T
Solutions CEO, Victor Millar of a conversation between Peter Drucker
Millar on a new training program for AT&T Solutions.
Second, in order to clear up any confusion I might have caused, I reviewed
the tape and have recorded the remarks of Millar's account of their
conversation in the form of a short dialog.
.. begin dialog
Drucker: Do you ask the people at the end of each session what they think
of the subject matter?
Millar: Oh, yes. We do that. We seek their advice.
Drucker: Do you ever cange teh course material based upon what they say?
Millar: Oh, yes. We listen to our people and we respond to them.
Drucker: That's stupid! ... There is no way an individual being trained
can evaluate the relevance of the subject matter before they have
had an opportunity to apply it. ... What you really ought to do
is ask them when they come back to the next school " What they
thought of what they learned at the prior one.
End of dialog...
My apologies for any confusion as it was not my intention.
