    Hello to all,

I am interested to know if anybody has experience in using company
studies as a learning tool. I would like a team of students to pick a
company and analyze its current and competitive future environment.
This sounds too simple so I am sure there are some tricks and traps to
    avoid. Any comments ?

Daniel Evans asked about having student teams analyze current and
    future
    competitive environments of companies.

If the local firms are selected, students might be able to get
information through visits and discussions at the companies. Sometimes
this leads to contacts for future jobs.
The Internet might be used to gather much industry and often
firm data. I require Internet updates on all cases discussed in
    my courses.
