Five business schools at state universities in Georgia have
held an initial meeting to discuss the planning and construction
of a performance indicator or benchmarking partnership.
An early stage related to this proposed benchmarking
partnership involves our collecting information about
performance indicator or benchmarking systems for
business or management programs in higher education.
We are aware of the AACSB/EBI approach that is being
developed and piloted, but some of us question its usefulness
and cost for teaching-oriented business schools in public
institutions of higher learning.
If anyone is aware of information (articles, papers, people to
contact) concerning performance indicator or benchmarking
programs, particularly partnerships, involving business
schools, we would certainly appreciate any feedback.
