CALL FOR CASES & PAPERS, WESTERN CASEWRITERS ASSOCIATION

We invite you to submit a case (with teaching note), a paper on case
teaching or research by OCTOBER 10, 1997. Cases will be presented at a
pre-conference to the Western Academy of Management on March 26, 1998, in
Portland, Oregon. The conference focus is to enhance case writing, teaching
and research. Cases may cover a wide range of topics including
entreprenuerial companies, change efforts, human relations, strategic
decision-making and implementation, and ethics, to name a few.

Peers participate in round table discussions of your case, if it is
selected. Cases and papers submitted will be blind reviewed by experienced
casewriters and case teachers, and written comments returned to the author.
We encourage you to submit qualitative cases from dissertations that hold
potential for publication as a teaching case. MBA or executive program
students that have generated cases for comprehensive assignments are also
    encouraged to submit their work.

The style for cases should be consistent with the guidelines set forth in
the North American Case Research Association. The style for papers should
follow Academy of Management guidelines. More information can be obtained
from Ann Feyerherm (afeyerhe@pepperdine.edu) Please submit three copies of
your paper or case and accompanying teaching note, two self-addressed
