I've always thought of learning as acquiring knowledge and, in some cases,
the ability to put it to practical use. Both occur without teachers or
instructors, and both can be facilitated by teachers or instructors. We
can learn good things or bad, we can do good things or bad, and we can
argue interminably about what is good and what is bad. I'm inclined to say
that we learn values too but I think that what we really do is adopt them,
    not learn them.

I'm more interested in the question itself...Why ask it?

To formulate my own for future reference of course ;-)

Will include these phrases and others:
    o change in behavior
    o individual effort

    Will compile for all respondents.

    TIA, Pat
