  • 1.  Call for AOM Teaching-Infotech Use Workshop

    ACADEMY OF MANAGEMENT MEETING, SAN DIEGO, AUGUST 1998
    Call for workshop facilitators for a Professional Development Workshop
    cosponsored by AOM's OCIS (Organizational Communication and Information
    Systems) and MED (Management Education and Development) Divisions
    on innovative uses of new information technologies to extend the
    anagement classroom. Panelists and facilitators are needed to for
    discussions on innovative educational uses of technology such as
    conducting office hours by Chat, using video telephone technology
    to bring guest speakers to class, using asynchronous discussion
    groups to continue class discussions between classes, using groupware
    to allow dispersed project groups, and distributing PowerPoint slides
    with voice-over on CD-ROM or the Web. If you are interested in

    I am interested in being a workshop facilitator at next year's academy
    meeting in San Diego. I am a member of the International Association of
    Facilitators and the Academy. I have interested in classroom technology
    and would be happy to facilitate any discussion where I can be of
    assistance.
