UCLA Extension and the John E. Anderson Graduate School of
Management, UCLA, present the 45th year of the "UCLA Leadership
Program at Ojai," meeting December 7-12, 1997, in Ojai, California.
Since the early 1950s, more than 5000 people have attended the UCLA
Program at Ojai. Executives, managers, administrators, supervisors,
and human resource personnel from the across the US and around the world
have enhanced their leadership capabilities in beautiful Ojai, California.
Choose among unique, concurrent, one-week residential workshops that
can help you improve your work performance, build interpersonal
skills, assess your leadership style, and leverage your strengths and
weaknesses.
"Leadership and Human Relations Laboratory" is an introductory
workshop utilizing small groups to provide an opportunity to develop a greater
understanding of oneself and to improve interpersonal skills ($1295).
"Advanced Leadership and Human Relations Laboratory" provides an
opportunity for self-renewal, as a person and as a manager, and for
expanding learning developed in the "Leadership and Human
Relations Laboratory", or its equivalent ($1295).
"Managing Organizational Change and Development" designed for
operating managers, personnel/human resource generalists and
other executives, deals with effectiveness under conditions of rapid
change ($1495).
Instructors in residence during the workshops are all specialists in
the field of human relations and applied behavioral sciences.
Up to 75 percent of past participants report that even five years
after taking
the program, they feel it continued to improve their overall work
performance and their effectiveness with other people (based on
surveys of past program participants).
These workshops are conducted at the Ojai Valley Inn, nestled in the
Sierra Madre Mountains 14 miles inland from Ventura, California. Room
and board averages an additional $800 above tuition fees (double
occupancy and all meals).
