    Dear friends ...

    Just checked with my colleague and was told that for a GOOD REVIEW of the
    works done in EXECUTIVE SUCCESSION, you should check up:

    Journal: ANNUAL REVIEW OF PSYCHOLOGY (ARP)
    Publication Year: 1987
    Author: HOUSE and SINGH

    The article by House & Singh (1987) talks about:

    1. Voluntary Succession
    2. Non-Voluntary Succession
    3. Effects of Executive Succession on organizational performance
    4. Effects of Inside vs outside sucession
    5. Factors leading to Executive Succession.

    From the references provided by House & Singh (1987), you should be able to
    get the necessary citations to other aticles that discusses the above issue
    in detail.

    After looking through the 2-page summary that I spoke of the last time
    again ... found that they contain more pointers to other articles than
    there are about theories.

    For those who cannot locate House & Singh (1987) article, I'll try to
    locate it. Will summarize and post at a later time.

    Meanwhile would appreciate if everyone could chip in and satisfy everyone's
    desire to find out more about this topic.
