ACADEMY OF MANAGEMENT CONSIDERS NEW JOURNAL
The Academy of Management has appointed a national Taskforce to consider
a new journal devoted to management teaching and learning. As currently
envisioned, this journal would complement the Academy of Management
Review, Academy of Management Journal, and Academy of Management
Executive, which focus on research and practice. The new journal could
include articles on management education, managers as educators and
learners, teaching strategies and techniques, research articles about
teaching and learning, conceptual papers, republished classics,
informational linkages to electronic teaching materials, and anything
else that serves the Academy readership and a larger potential audience
in industry and education. Although there is no title for this journal,
for the purposes of this questionnaire it is tentatively titled Learning
Management. Please reply to the following 13 questions and resend/mail
back ASAP. Thanks in advance!
