Hello,
For those of you interested in distance learning and on-line learning &
training:
The International Web Learning Forum (IWLF), an innovative Virtual
Learning Program
for Web Based Training and On-Line Learning Developers/Practitioners
begins November 1, 1997 and runs through October 31, 1998. This is a
long term virtual conference program which takes place entirely on the
World Wide Web.
Each month a different guest facilitator will participate in the
discussion within the IWLF. The asynchronous environment allows IWLF
members to access the learning community when it fits their schedule -
allowing members to maximize the value of this new learning community.
The community is a resource available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
The IWLF differs from a traditional conference in that it is an on-going
program. Unlike a normal conference where a few days are set aside for
intensive communication and information sharing - the IWLF will not lose
the momentum of great ideas and it provides a forum which remembers
previous discussions - allowing attendees to draw off the knowledge base
created as they progress in their work.
More information on the program, scheduled guests, and registration for
this unique virtual event may be found at:

Russ Williams
