It has been approximately ten years since the Porter and McKibbin report,
Management Education and Development: Drift or Thrust into
the 21st Century, was issued. One of the criticisms of that report was
that schools of business were not doing a very good job of developing
the leadership/managerial skills of their students. I am working on an
article and I am trying to identify schools who in the last ten years have
done some curriculum reform to respond to this criticism. So far, using
electronic searches, I have been able to identify Harvard, Ohio and
Washington Universities as having done some degree of curriculum
reform. Could you help me in identifying other schools that have also
done some degree of curriculum reform? Could you cite any
articles/papers that describe the curriculum reform? Can I cite your
response as personal communication in the article?
Thank you for your assistance.
