A colleague and I are developing a course that will examine
how technology impacts organization with a specific goal to
expose students to the realities of how important the role of leadership
is in this process. This is not an OD course but rather a course focused
on the future of our organizations and the role of leadership.

Any suggestions for materials, direction, pedagogy and course design would
be very much appreciated. Please respond to me directly. Thanks

Leadership is certainly a popular topic. As a practitioner we have approached
it from many vantage points. Recently, Carlson Learning Company released an
instrument to measure twelve dimensions of leadership. We have found this to
be very helpful in opening discussions on the subject and creating individual
involvement since it can be used to identify personal leadership strengths as
well as consensus on the type of leadership needed within an organization at
any given moment. I am always looking for feedback on the tools we use and
represent and therefore would be happy to send a complimentary copy to you or
anyone else on this list if you have the time to reply with your critique of
the instrument. To get a copy send me your mailing address and daytime phone
    number for follow-up.

I'm looking forward to some critical dialogue with many of you.

    Best wishes,
