A while back, on this list I believe, someone posted a reference to a
conceptual schema suggesting that organizations pass through a series of
crises. As best I recall, one was a crisis of identity, another was a
crisis of leadership. Does anyone know the source of that schema? Can
you point me to a book or article?

Thanks for any help you might provide...

    Fred,
To get copies of the Mg-Ed-Dv postings you refer
to go to the Mg-Ed-Dv archive at:
    http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/mg-ed-dv.html
Like all important lists and archives in the area
of management, the Mg-Ed-Dv archive is accessible
through the MANAGEMENT ARCHIVE which is at:
    http://ursus.jun.alaska.edu/archives/
You can access the MANAGEMENT ARCHIVE also
by just going to the ACADEMY OF MANAGEMENT HOME
PAGE and clicking on it there. The ACADEMY OF
    MANAGEMENT HOME PAGE is at:
    http://aom.pace.edu/
Oh, by the bye, I think that specific references
for the kind of model that Fred is looking for will
not be found in the January postings he recalls. So,
don't let this pre-empt his query.
    Cybercollegially,
    Charlie Wankel
