    Fellow list members:

Is anyone aware of workshops, seminars, programs etc. that deal with
helping organizations deal with gender issues. I am wondering specifically
about such dimensions as communication styles, attitudes, values,
    interpersonal perceptions, etc.

I believe their are gender differences for these dimensions, but am not
aware of any organized programs to help organizations identify, address,
    and assimilate these differences.

I thank you in advance for your thoughts, information, or suggestions.

I will summarize for the list if requested.

    Warmly,

    Ivan Zendel

    Ivan:
I struggle with focussing only on gender issues when helping organizations
deal with these diversity. You might look at *Power & Systems* session on...
Creating Community in the face of difference. Barry Oshry, Anne Litwin and
Bill Woodson are doing it March 16-20 in Cape Cod. I have been through The
Organization Workshop, a simulation lead by Oshry and Litwin and it was
excellent. This session is built around a *societal experience*. Might be
    worth calling them.
They can be reached at 617-437-1640.

    Ivan,

I do workshops and programs on Gender and Personality Differences. For a
good start, you may want to view Deborah Tannen's recent video, TALKING
FROM 9 TO 5, based on her book of the same title. There's another good
video I've seen and will let you know as soon as I can find the name of it.

Please feel free to call or e-mail me if you'd like any more information.

You might also contact someone at the California School of Professional
Psychology. I'm familiar with the Los Angeles campus, where I served as
Director of their Organizational Psychology Program, but the work is very
similar at the other campuses at San Diego and Berkeley. A mission of CSPP
that they are passionate about, particularly within the clinical programs,
is to address differences and to reduce bias based on gender, race,
    ethnicity, etc.
