    Dear colleagues,

Is there a term 'visual company' or something like it? If so, can any
body give some basic references on the idear/copcept?

    Thanks.

    Gao Junshan:

Ni hao. Do you mean "virtual company?" In my circles it means a group of
independent consultants who team up to act as a "company" to provide
services and/or solutions to clients. The "meeting rooms" include e-mail,
telephone bridge conferencing, videoconferencing, as well as in-person
meetings together and with clients. I have operated on this basis many
times since I started my life as an independent consultant in 1986.

    Dear Virtual,

Company teams in sophisticated management games certainly take on many
characteristics of Virtual Companies. The more realistic the game, the
closer we get. The INTOPIA simulation is a good example. Best, hans t
