    Disclaimers about my sanity are probably irrelevant, but I have to ask this
    question.

    I had been asked about references on systems that include affect. Have I
    already posted them to the list? Or did I send them directly to the
    inquirer? (I had done my weekly "purge" before the second request came
    in--and I don't know whether the postings crossed, or whether I answered
    directly to the first request.)
