I did this in Microsoft Outlook:
Save attachment to local disk but rename with .doc extension.
Open from disk with MSWord.
The file looks like a simple text file with formatting. If changing the
file extension to .doc doesn't work, try .rtf or .txt or your word
processor's native format.
