    Dear Colleagues,

We are a small but fast growing university in the north east. Our
business school is currently in its second year of candidacy for AACSB
    accreditation.

To aid in our accreditation efforts, we are currently considering
changing from a traditional departmental structure to a structure with
just a director of undergraduate studies and a director of graduate
studies. Need less to say this has created mixed feelings among the
    faculty and administration.

We are seeking experiences (positive and negative) of faculty as well
as administartion in attempting such a change. We believe this
information will be helpful in our decision making process.

You may please respond to me directly. If other members of this
newsgroup desire I shall summarize the responses and post on the net.

    Thank you.

    J. Smith, Ph.D.

    Dear Colleagues,

Could any one please suggest a good text book, and/or other teaching
material for a masters level Principles of Marketing Management class ?

I know of quite a few books that are written for the US audience. But I
am looking for those that address a predominantly European audience.

    Thank you.

    JS

Hello there, it was not 100% clear from our post, but if you are looking for
a textbook on restructuring, then take a look at "Unorganization: The
Company Handbook" at http://www.unorg.com/company.htm This book explains the
difference between downsizing, restructuring and downstructuring as
transformation tools and explains why and how such transformation is
necessary. Best wishes, regards simon buckingham unorganization: business
    not busyness! http://www.unorg.com
