A brief request..
These days every campus in the country operates any number of pc
computer labs for use by their students. How effectively do these labs
operate and help the students who use them?
I have been asked to look into what various schools do in terms of
training/preparing their student workers who operate/staff these labs.
For some that I have contacted so far it seems to be assumed that the
students hired "know all about" computers, printers, networks, etc. so
virtually nothing is done in the way of actual training or preparation.
Could any of you who know, please contact me with a brief summary of
what happens on your campus and, if there is some sort of formal prep or
training, who to contact for further information.
