The Industrial Management Institute (IMI) is Iran's premier management
consulting and education firm with close to 40 years of presence in the
Iranian market. IMI's mission is to assist in the development of Iran's
industrial and service sectors by acquainting Iranian top executives with
the latest findings in the field of management. Thus far, numerous projects
have been undertaken by IMI's research, consulting, and education
departments. Research topics include, "Increasing the Role of the Private
Sector in the Industries," "Indicators of Competitiveness in the Automotive
Industry," "Re-engineering of Iran's Customs Department," "The Development
of Methodologies for Increasing the Technology Level of Industries," and
"Private Ownership in Iran: Role in Industrial Technological Development."
In addition, IMI's education wing has initiated an EMBA program and offered
with great success a number of international courses in strategic
management, international business, and specialized management courses.
Consulting projects involve the re-engineering of organizations, design and
implementation of information systems in industrial and service firms,
quality assurance systems consulting (ISO-9000), and organizational design.
In line with its objectives and mission, IMI has been networking with
management consultants and educators worldwide.
IMI is presently seeking to strengthen its network of contacts, and
encourage greater exchange with management consultants and/or scholars in
the following areas:

- Financial Management
- Human Resource Development
- Marketing and International Business
- Information Technology Management
- Technology Management
Projects on any of the foregoing subjects involve the following activities:
- Cooperation in research projects/research partnership
- Cooperation in the implementation of consulting projects
- Preparation and organization of seminars and educational
workshops.
