On mg-ed-dv list culture:
Posting biographies to Mg-Ed-Dv is not normal nor acceptable. Certainly
I never invited this nor do our participants generally do this. Indeed, it
is irksome. Therefore, let me say definitively (imagine the tone of Joan
Crawford in Mommy Dearest): no more life-stories, blatant self-promotion
and advertising--particularly of the uninteresting sort.
Now, something involving cutting-edge management teaching technology etc.
might be an exception. So, if in doubt, run it by me first so I can assess
its value before posting such things to the more than 800 of us on the list.
