    Teaching Business Ethics:
    Perspectives on best practice

    Announcement and Call for Papers

Contributions are invited for a one day EBEN-UK conference on the
teaching of business ethics to be held at City University in London on
Friday, 1st June 2001. The conference enjoys the support of the
    Institute of Business Ethics.

A growing community of educators are now involved in the teaching of
business ethics in a variety of higher education contexts. However,
limited attention has been paid to principles of pedagogy and best
practice. This conference will provide an opportunity for this growing
    community to share their experienced-based and/or research-based
    reflections.

In addition to the presentation of papers, keynote speakers and
'hands-on' demonstrations of teaching and learning support material
will form a central part of the day. Details of keynote contributors
will be announced in due course.

Abstracts (maximum 500 words) should be submitted by Monday, 23rd
April, 2001. Both full and working papers may be presented at the
conference. Selected papers will be published in a special edition of
the journal Teaching Business Ethics (Kluwer Academic Publishers).
Papers may be submitted on any aspect of teaching business ethics.
However, papers focusing on aspects of innovatory practice are
    particularly welcome.

The cost of the conference will be 50 to include a copy of the
conference proceedings, luncheon and other refreshments during the day.

To submit a paper, pre-register or for any other enquiries please
