The members of this listgroup seem to have a wide background of knowledge
and business which is IMHO very healthy for us all to get a better overview
view of things. I have a question concerning businesses and the use of
newsgroup. Is this becoming a more widely used tool in the business
setting? What are some of the pros/cons? Thanks

    Brian,
Mg-Ed-Dv is targeted at both management professors in university settings
and to individuals doing executive and management development in corporate
settings. The membership is high and so I imagine that it can be
characterized as "used". However, I don't believe that this type of
"discussion list" or "mailing list" is where the growth of usage is on the
Net. I believe that the web is where the wildest growth is. One area of
change is the increasing internationalization of the Net.

As a new joiner of the group, I'm interested in the business applications
rather than the academic discussion. I'm a consultant rather than working
inside an organisation. As far as I know, none of my clients subscribes to
    this group.

    Best wishes
