Study Links Employee Satisfaction & Retention to Job Training
A new employee survey released this month concludes that:
--employer-sponsored training and education is viewed by employees as a
plus in recruitment
--training contributes significantly to retention
--employees want more training particularly in technology, communications
and management
Other notable findings:
--84% of employees who get at least 6 days of training are "very satisfied"
with their jobs
--80% consider training an important factor when considering a new job
opportunity
