Ho Chi Minh City. For list members who have not yet visited Vietnam and

Management Education Conference in Vietnam
The conference is a joint undertaking of the Swiss-AIT-Vietnam Management
Development Program (SAV), AIT School of Management and the five leading
business schools in Vietnam:

� The HCMC University of Technology-Vietnam National University of Ho

� The Hanoi School of Business-Vietnam National University
The focus of the Conference will be on the management of information
technology,
a challenge high on the list of both public policy and business priorities,
and the
use of information technology in management education. Clearly, the leading
business schools have a vitally important role to play in the development of
a
new generation of managers capable of playing a leading role in bridging the
digital divide with more advanced countries in the field.
To this end, the Conference seeks to bring to Vietnam some of the most
advanced thinking on IT management from centers of excellence in the
region, Australia, North America and Europe.
As a management education authority specialized in transition countries,
we are sure you have a lot of insights into the needs and gaps in management
education of these countries and how it should be changed to respond
effectively to those emerging needs. We would like therefore to invite you
to
join the Conference. We would appreciate very much if you could share with
us your latest thinkings/experiences about management education in one of
these transition economy. We believe such a study will be of special

to Vietnam.
