    Hi

Please cross-post as appropriate, and, of course, also please
    forgive any cross-posting.

Announcing a new free internet conference on Leadership in
Management, and a call for additional papers.

An internet conference on Leadership in Management will be
hosted by MCB University Press, the British publisher of many
academic and professional journals, on its conference site:
    http://www.mcb.co.uk/services/conferen/

The conference will start officially on September 21 and run
through most of December. It is free to all academic and
    management professionals.

    There will be two tracks:
    A. Leadership philosophies, theories, and research
    B. Teaching/learning leadership concepts and skills

Both tracks contain papers on crucial topics that tend to expand
on the existing body of knowledge, especially in areas that are
not widely discussed. The conference should therefore be of
interest to all managers, to leaders in other fields, and to
those who work on management or leadership education and/or
    development.

You are invited to sign on, either by clicking on Leadership in
    Management in the index at
    http://www.mcb.co.uk/services/conferen/confindex/
or by going directly to the conference's URL:
    http://www.mcb.co.uk/services/conferen/sept98/lim/

When signing on, you can also express interest in acting as a
conference speaker. You would then have to submit a paper that
would be added to the list of papers once it passes the review.

If you indicate your interest when signing on, you will be
contacted by the conference convenor, Erwin Rausch. You could
also contact Erwin directly at didacticra@aol.com.

The conference Proceedings will be published by Career
Development International, one of MCB's Journals, Jeff Gold,
    editor.

We look forward to your joining us at the conference and giving
all of us, the speakers and the other participants, the benefit
    of your thoughts.
