We've set up three new email discussion lists that may be of interest
to folks here. One is on performance management, another on workplace
conflict, and a third on communication in the workplace.
Open to all, but particularly management educators (and their
students).
Here's the announcement:
For those of you who would like to interact with each
other in email format, we have set up three NEW email
lists on specific subjects of interest. The are:
The Workplace Conflict Discussion List
The place to discuss workplace conflict among staff,
between admin. and teachers, and difficulties with the
public and parents. Share your expertise and experience
or get help.
The Workplace Communication Discussion List
For discussion of general communication issues in the
workplace. Like what? How to get yourself heard? How to
manage meetings? How to influence the boss? How to
appear more responsive to staff?
....
The Performance Management Discussion List
Obviously aimed at issues related to performance
management, performance appraisal and evalation,
including performance planning, ongoing communication,
performance management and discipline, etc.
