> position as Assistant Professor of Business Administration and Information
> Technology beginning in August 2002.

> Depending on the successful candidate's strengths, teaching assignments
> (normally seven sections per year) could include a range of Business and

> At the center of the IT program is a unique experiential three-semester
> course sequence called "Innovations for Industry", in which students are
> organized into small teams to work on various IT projects from local
> business and non-profit organizations. The successful candidate will also
> participate in the oversight of some of these industry-based team projects
> as part of the teaching load.

> Ability to teach courses in one or more of the functional areas of
> business (quantitative analysis, production and operations, human
> resources, finance, and marketing) or upper level CS/IT courses would be a
> plus. The ideal candidate will also be enthusiastic about contributing to
> interdisciplinary activities including the general education activities of
> the College. We are somewhat flexible in what we expect, but we also
> expect willingness and flexibility on the part of a candidate.

> Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of an M.B.A., with the D.B.A.
> or Ph.D. (including ABD) preferred. We desire related private or public
> sector professional experience. A strong commitment to teaching and
