ASTD LOOKING FOR PARTNERS TO DISTRIBUTE MEASUREMENT KIT

The American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) is looking for
international partners to distribute its second annual Measurement Kit
    in early 1999.

The kit, developed by ASTD, provides standard measures of training
investments and practices. Data from the kit has enabled ASTD to
create a comprehensive database that can be used to provide accurate
benchmarking comparisons for all participating companies. In 1998,
more than 20 international organizations worked as partners with ASTD
to distribute the Kit and more than 1,200 organizations (including
over 400 outside of the United States) reported data. ASTD expects the
number of participants to grow significantly in 1999.

The Measurement Kit is free to any organization, and companies that
use the kit and report their data to ASTD will receive a free
customized benchmarking report that compares their training practices
with other comparison groups (including averages in their industry).
Organizations interested in distributing the 1999 Measurement Kit can
receive further information by contacting Lori Cefus via email at
benchservice@astd.org or by telephone at 001.703.838.5859.
