An MBA program is designed for preparing mangers of tomorrow,
for the local business and industry. It is best to consult them, on
their expectations of new managers, joining the organisation within the
next 5 years or so. This exercise has to be done on a regular basis, say
once in five years, so that the program meets the requirements of its
customers, i.e. Business and industry. Visionaries in the business
environments, will have much to say in the matter, which the MBA
    institutes must listen.

There may not be any totally universal curriculum for an MBA
program., to cover these requirements. While many core subjects and tool
may be common, there could be some filler subjects to cater for the
local needs. The young students may have to be exposed to local work
culture, local laws, local constraints & business and social
environments, especially in under-developed countries. This will help
them to trim their expectations and management styles to suit the local
    uncertainties.

For preparing the managers to face the challenges of tomorrow,
especially threats of recession and depression, in the changing global
market, the best preparation would be study of a few notable success
stories of entrepreneurs, in tackling such threats, during the last
century. This may help young managers to prepare for the threats they
    may face in future.
