The 1999 conference for the Administrative Sciences Association of
Canada will be held in Saint John, New Brunswick, 12-15 June 1999.

The Management Education division requests and encourages you to submit
papers in keeping with the division mandate, in addition to papers in
keeping with the conference theme. With the context of the conference
theme in mind, the division is planning two special sessions.
For the first theme, we invite you to submit proposals on the effect of
electronic commerce on the structure and delivery of undergraduate
finance majors. This could include, but is not limited to, degree
requirements and syllabus revisions to course structures. Issues such
as what technologies are now mandatory for finance students and how are
students coping with the changes might be addressed. Reflective,
descriptive, and quantitative papers are welcome.
For the second theme, we invite papers on current comparative trends in
professor salaries and barriers to mobility. The thrust of the papers
should reflect the impact of the digital frontier on both the duties and
mobility of professors. We also welcome applications for panelists for
a division discussion on the competitiveness of Canadian faculty
Salaries.
