Conference Theme: "Recovery, Renewal and Reconsideration"
Apropos of the venue, this year's conference theme, "Recovery, Renewal and
Reconsideration" calls on participants to consider the impact of the events
of September 11, 2001 on the practice of management and on the conduct and
quality of our lives in organizations. Our program will feature speakers who
will address the recovery, renewal and reconsideration efforts of their
institutions in the aftermath of September 11th.

Papers and proposals that merge traditional domains with the Conference theme
"Recovery, Renewal and Reconsideration" will be most welcome, as will papers
or proposals directed either to practitioners or to academics.
Submissions will be blind reviewed; accepted papers will be published in
Proceedings. Selected papers will be included in a special edition of the
Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal.
The venue for the conference is the Midtown Executive & Chemists' Club, a
first-class housing and conference facility ideally located in midtown
Manhattan near Rockefeller Center and the Theatre District. A block of rooms
at very reasonable rates has been set aside for our conferees.
