    MG ED Colleagues:

I teach in and manage a graduate program at George Washington
University. The students are HR/HRD generalists and managers. We have
designed an elective course focused on HR/HRD in Central Europe. As
part of the course, we will do a "field trip" to 3 sites in the region.
To prepare for that trip, I am seeking contacts in Amsterdam, Prague,
    Budapest and Vienna.

I am interested in generating both academic and industry contacts in
    these sites.

If your organization has facilities in these settings I would appreciate
    any leads you could provide.

The design of the course is as follows: We will begin with a primer on
the history, culture, politics and economics of the focal
cities/countries. With that as a basis, we will then examine business
practices in general, and human resource issues and practices in
particular. We will then spend approximately two weeks touring the
region, visiting facilities and holding roundtable discussions with
    officials, managers, academics and students.

I will appreciate any ideas, leads or reactions you can provide. Please
contact me by email or phone:

Dr. Morgan --I am responding to your request on the MG-ED list for "contacts
in Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest and Vienna." Let me begin by introducing
myself, for I am new to this list. My name is Kenneth Cust and I have
recently started a consulting firm for philosophers.

Our firm, Philosophical Services (P/S), provides MA and Ph.D. qualified
philosophers (and only MA and Ph.D. qualified philosophers) to governments,
corporations, organizations, and individuals as philosophical consultants.
Our philosophical consultants can meet the needs as outlined in your
message. Many of our philosophical consultants not only have academic
positions in universities in the cities/countries you specified, some also
have contacts in the business community as well. In addition, they would be
very good at meeting your request regarding "the history, culture, politics
and economics of the focal cities/countries."

For further information about what P/S can offer, please visit our web site
    at the following address:
