I am looking for a book, book chapter or article which provides a good
overview of the various management theories which could be used in a
    grad student course.

    Hi Craig

Try Rausch, Erwin and Washbush, John B. 1998. High Quality Leadership:
Practical Guidelines to Becoming a More Effective Manager. Milwaukee, WI: ASQ
Quality Press. It's not a conventional text but it is short, to the point,
practical, can be used as refresher for most theories - It may be just what
    you need.

If the publisher (1-800-248-1946) will not send you a desk copy, and you want
to see it, please let me know and I'll lend you a copy.

You may also want to look at my posting to this list, earlier today, entitled
Michael Ayers, Michael Levenhagen, and Charles Wankel

If there is further information I can provide, or if you want to take me up at
my offer, please contact me at didacticra@aol.com, not on the list.
