CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The aim of the EAIR Forum is to bring together researchers, planners,
policy makers and practitioners in the field of management and
administration of higher education institutions and systems. The 1999
Forum will also devote a special track to the application of new
technologies in teaching and learning in higher education. The Forum
will provide an opportunity for representatives from many different
countries to exchange views, experiences and research findings across
national boundaries.
The Call for Proposals is now available at the Forum website
http://www.evaluat.lu.se/EAIR/
The deadline for proposals is 1 March 1999. Proposals may be submitted
online. ------------
Keynote speakers
----------------
Each day of the Forum will feature at least one plenary session with a
keynote address by a prominent researcher on one aspect of the main
Forum theme. Keynote addresses will also introduce each of the six
programme tracks.
So far, the following keynote speakers are scheduled.

* Mantz Yorke, Centre for Higher Education Development, Liverpool

Forum Tracks

Under the general theme, sessions at the Forum will be organised in
six parallel tracks:
Track 1: Changing Relations between Higher Education and Society
Track 2: Strategic Management
Track 3: Leadership and Governance
Track 4: Development of a Quality Culture
Track 5: New Technologies and Innovation
Track 6: From Teaching to Learning
