James R. Good Chair in International Business

The College of Business Administration, in support of the University's goal
of serving "the diverse and multicultural communities of Ohio, the United
States, and the world," invites nominations and applications for the
initial appointment to the James R. Good Chair in International Business.
Appointment to this tenured position will be at the rank of full or
associate professor. Preference will be given to candidates with records
of achievement that warrant appointment at the rank of full professor.
Other qualifications for the professorship are: 1. an earned doctorate in
business or economics; 2. a demonstrated teaching and research expertise in
international business; 3. a documented record of excellence in teaching,
advising, and working with students; 4. a distinguished and ongoing record
of research; 5. the ability to inspire and collaborate with colleagues in
teaching, research, and service; and 6. willingness to provide community
outreach consistent with the mission of the College.
An academic focus in accounting, finance, or business strategy and policy,
expertise in European business, a record of achieving external grants, and
industry or consulting experience are desirable but not required. While all
of the candidate's contributions in the above areas will be considered,
greater weight will be given to those activities that have an international
business focus.
