    In late Fall, 1998, we set up a new discussion list on performance
    management and appraisal, figuring we would get a few "fanatics"
    interested in the subject. To my surprise we have hit the 400+
    subscriber mark and the discussions have been excellent.

    One element that is lacking is people who are actively involved in
    management education who can discuss how performance management and
    appraisal issues are being taught.

    So, I'm extending the invitation to join the list. It's moderated
    (for now to keep some semblance of focus).

    As an aside, we have made our white paper - Why Performance
    Management Fails, avalable for free on the web, and periodically
    inform our list members on availability.

    For those of you who don't know, there is a discussion list devoted to
    performance appraisals, performance management and performance
    improvement.

    All are welcome. For those of you who teach on related topics, feel
    free to offer the forum to your students.

    The list is moderated to ensure on topic posts.
