I think "John L. Naman, PSAllton, and Bruce Pawlak make good points
regarding the study. Let me hasten to point out that I am only the
messenger, here. I was not a participant in the study team that
conjectured about the findings.
A key point, it seems to me, is that the professional body that sponsored
the study apparently withdrew support because they did not like the
findings. The highlights the possibility that practitioners may bring
relevance to the academic situation but they may also be infected with
vested interests.
