My institution is primarily teaching oriented and has a growing
international program commitment at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Several faculty are urging that our business programs should become
accredited by the Internaitonal Assembly for Collegiate Business
Education. I find myself a bit in the dark as to the nature of this new
organization. How does it compare to AACSB and ACBSP? Does accreditation
by any of these agencies make a difference outside the United States? It
would be very helpful to me and my colleagues if any of you could share
    your experiences.

I can only tell you my experience: INSEAD wouldn't look at any US prof for
exchange assignment, etc., unless coming from an AACSB accredited school.
That was more than ten years ago though.
