Dear Colleagues,
I forward information about the EGOS conference to
be held at the University of Warwick, UK, 4-6 July 1999.
EGOS originated as an informal network in 1973, and rapidly
grew into Europes leading group for those involved in
organizational studies. This pan-European dimension led to the
official formationof the EGOS Association in July 1997.
EGOS provides an international network of academics
interested in studying organizations. It is a European based
network, where experiences and ideas can be exchanged.
EGOS is also a forum for knowlegde development.
Organizational innovation must be led by the development of
new knowledge. The Association makes new approaches known and
stimulates new ways of thinking by exploring topics at the forefront.
The Association provides a forum for identifying and discussing key
issues in organizational theory and practice. Critical refection on
the most recent ideas and trendsis at the core of the Associations
activities.
