Hello Friends,
I thought you might enjoy this link I made to my qualitative methods
class. I attempt to provide ph.d students an introduction to alternatives to
semiotics in qualitative research. I am blessed to work with a web artist
(Renee Brown) who has helped me make available some philosophy links to QM
methods.
This link contrasts Critical theory, postmodern, social construciton, and
poststructualism. I find new students get them confused. These are meant to
be wavy lines, since much work cuts through my distinctions.

ps If you ahve not already done so, there is still time to send in a
proposal to the OBTC conference. Steve Best (postmod), Herman Garcia
(critical pedagoy) and other firends and colleagues are coming to work with
various tracts that look at how to teach with critical, postmodern, and
traditional approaches to management and org. behavior. We are also looking
at how mgt/ob education is being transformed by Cyber U. Deadline is Feb.
15th.
