I consider Alexander's posting to have been a one time thing rather than an
onslaught. Alexander is a student of one of our most valued members who
suggested that he join Mg-Ed-Dv. In this way, I consider part of our
virtual community and gave him slack. I considered his posting to be
harmless enough. The brouhaha that ensued following his posting is another
matter. Generally, it's best to let the odd posting go by. Sending me
off-list comments on what you think to be problems usually is a best first
course of action. In this case, I certainly could have given you a lot of
