To the List:
Some weeks ago, someone asked whether anyone could recommend a way of combining the teaching of management with org. behavior and whether a book could be recommended. I have just received a book from Prentice-Hall which might fit the bill. It is Organizational Behavior:The Person-Organization Fit (1999) by A. Nahavandi and A.R. Malekzadeh. Examination of the book reveals that the title is something of a misnomer, as it is as much about management as ob, in my judgment. It is fairly long, the typface is too small in my estimation, but the coverage seems thorough and balanced. I'm not in a position to recommend, but it does warrant a look for anyone who needs such a book.
