A site that was recommended to me and that has descriptions of
diverse research techniques and approaches is Carter McNamara's:
http://www.managementhelp.org/research/research.htm
I usually teach graduate OB and bus. ethics sections in which students
have varying quant. and qual. research knowledge levels coming into
my courses from which to tackle research projects here. Basics on
approaches from appreciative inquiry, focus groups, to many others
from this site seem useful, particularly for students who have had
little previous exposure to courses in research methods or only have had
quantitative methods courses. Perhaps some of you with more experience
using such supporting sites for research methods have discovered others
that are more useful than this one. --- Steve Payne
