Hello
I am a new member to the list, and I am based in the West of England. I
work in software quality management, with special interest in software
project management, software testing and relationships across software and
business teams. I do not have formal management qualifications, but I do
have over 15 years managing teams in organisations of different sizes. I
run a small business, and I am involved with various voluntary
organisations. I have joined the list to get ideas good reading matter
and see what might be appropriate to follow up in my work, as well as (I
hope) ask questions and contribute ideas to discussions. But I shall be
listening before I join in...

Hi,

I am a new member of the Academy of Management's MED executive committee
and I thought I would introduce myself to the list. My name is Jim
Spee. I'm an associate
professor at the University of Redlands School of Business. At the
division business meeting Tuesday at the Denver meeting, I was chosen as
Research Coordinator-Elect. I am also the new western U.S. regional
representative for NACRA and the local
arrangements chair for the Western Academy of Management's 2003 meeting
in
Palm Springs next April. I look forward to serving the division over
the next couple of years.
