(The reason Kim's students climb telephone poles is because his school is on
desolate land flatter than a dinner plate and the only thing tall enough to
climb is a telephone pole. Most other schools pick a nearby cliff.)

John is correct. Lubbock is flat, flat, flat. But if you will send your
green, green, green, I will build a prairie dog mound in your honor. Now
this may not seem like much, but it will give you a few feet up on the rest
of Lubbock. For those who are Nordically impaired, Lubbock is a great
place for cross country sking when it snows. (At least for 20 minutes
until the weather changes). As we say about Lubbock, it is a great place
to live, but I wouldn't put it on my must see dream vacation list.

As we former TT Red Raider students say, "Happiness is Lubbock Texas in your
    rearview mirror."
