the students or the trainees need be developed as wholistic individuals,
who would have the capabilities to handle on their own, say the lone
wolfs if required. some basic findamamental concepts are very much
required and necessary to progress further or build on on their own. as
a matter of fact a manger / leader is on his/her own once in the
business arena. in this line i was once quoting the role of a faculty,
especially in Management education would be to "make them learn how to
learn".
the tough task is building the right blend concepts, tools, trends and
technology and all these coupled with proper methodlogy, which has to
vary, to enable them and at the same time build them.
