This is a very important consideration. The need is to get the employee
"to buy in" to the company, so that she/he feels part of an entire
effort. A classic example of success here is the job that the United
Auto Workers and the car companies have done over the past years. I was
a very small part of the UAW/GM work in Flint, and I found it quite
impressive.
