Dear Colleagues,
If you are planning to attend the Academy of Management Conference (3-8
August 2001) in Washington DC, you might like to note the exciting programme
of the MED Division.
We are delighted to bring you a rich PDW program chaired by Regina Bento
featuring several practical and international oriented sessions reflecting
current trends in management education.
For the main program we would like to draw your attention to our two THEMED
SESSIONS and several SYMPOSIA and PAPER SESSIONS all of which address this
year's conference theme examining how within management education and
development, government as a form of administration, as an act of domination
(governance) and as a system of principles (governing values), is conceived
of and the role it pays in relation to learning and development. Our effort
is to foster genuine debate and reflection on the changing face of
management education.
We hope that you will be able to join us in our various sessions and in our
Reception and Social Hour on Tuesday, August 7th from 7:30-9:30pm at the
Hilton Towers Hotel, Lincoln Ballroom where we will be hosting a Celebration
of Knowledge Exchange.
