    Colleagues:

     

    I write today to introduce you to Employment Relations Today (ERT), a quarterly journal published by Wiley.  If you are unfamiliar with this journal, please click the link to take a closer look.  ERT has been published for many years, enjoys a robust audience, and is carried in most Academic libraries.  I have taken on the Editor-in-Chief role and am helping Wiley to shift this publication to a "blind" peer review process for New Ideas, Features, and Research Applications.

    ERT will continue to showcase legal issues in HR with sections on Federal and State Regulations, Key Court Cases, and a subject-specific Q&A section.  ERT topics encompass a wide range of HR and OB-related interests and responsibilities dealing with both the HR profession, organizations and issues related to serving the best interests of both employees and organization executives. Each volume includes a broad scope of HR and OB topics that are presented by a variety of field experts and scholars. Practitioners can learn what research has found in evidence-focused articles and scholars can learn about the practical realities that surround the topics they research.

    We are seeking manuscript submissions on all aspects of employment, organizations, and HR.  Manuscripts in ERT are typically shorter than most scholarly articles but will be held to the same high standards of articles that go through peer review.  The successful submission will be less technical in presentation and will highlight new ideas and learning from applications and field experience.
